So I haven’t done much travelling this year and I can’t tell you how much that upsets me. If you’ve followed my blog for sometime now, you will know that I love visiting new countries, different cities and just experiencing others cultures. Earlier this year I visited Portugal and although it wasn’t my first time in Portugal, it was my first time in Lisbon and I loved it. I plan to visit at least 3 new countries next year, so seeing as Winter is upon us, I’ve decided to share my short bucket list of warmer countries (More will be added soon). If you’ve visited any of the places on my list or you recommend, please leave me a comment with your thoughts.
1. Bali, Indonesia
I’ve always wanted to visit Bali for as long as I can remember. I feel as though I would enjoy the food and I hear the people are friendly, but besides that, I cannot wait to stay at one of their amazing resorts. Many of which I follow on instagram.
2. Havana, Cuba
I don’t have much to say about Cuba besides that the culture looks amazing and inviting. The colourful cars, the architecture and the general history, I would love to visit before it becomes modernised, as I feel most historic cities eventually do.
3. Positano, Amalfi Coast
What can I possibly say about Positano? The beautifully colourful buildings, the fine beaches and the cute cafes. I want salt in my hair, sand on my feet and the sun on my skin.
4. Santorini, Greece
Santorini is a place that I’ve always wanted to visit. My mum and I were in the middle of planning a mum/daughter trip two years ago, but something came up. I hope I can visit it sometime soon as I love the beaches and the Stone Age style architecture that surrounds it.
So Thailand is a country that my brother keeps telling me to visit because when he visited, it blew his mind. I don’t even know what city I would like to visit first, but I know the most obvious would be Bangkok. I would like to visit Ko Samui, Chiang Mai and Pattaya. If anyone has been, please let me know all you can.
Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro being the top cities to visit are on my list. My friend speaks highly of Brazil, from the food, to the people, to the celebrations. I would love nothing more than to experience their culture, visit the Favelas and experience the carnival.
There are so many more places that I would like to visit, but these are the first few on my list. There’s China, Japan, Colombia e.t.c You can say I’ve been bitten by the travel bug.
