On Tuesday 9th October, I attended a rather magical event hosted by PANDORA and it was simply beautiful to say the least.
I’m sure you’re all familiar with the PANDORA jewellery brand, so I’ll get right into it. Pandora has been around for years and as beautiful as their pieces are, there has been something everyone in the United kingdom (including myself) had been waiting for and it finally happened. They launched their Disney collection of jewellery and the sheer excitement knowing that I could shop these pieces in store and online made me so excited. Being a HUGE (when I say huge, I truly mean it) Disney fan, this news was like music to my ears.
So to celebrate that launch, myself and a few other influencers were invited to A Tale As Old As Time (Beauty & The Beast reference) afternoon tea at The Kensington Hotel. Once we got there, the lovely girls in charge of PR & Marketing explained what the evening would consists of. There was a brief history on Pandora, a viewing of the new pieces with amazing charms ranging from Minnie Mouse to Cinderella’s carriage and an explanation on the actual treats we would be eating. By the time the afternoon tea came out, all the girls were a bit too excited to listen, but I recall the waiter explaining that the bread on our afternoon tea was reminiscent of Belle’s trip to the bakery etc.
So we pretty much ate a chocolate Cogsworth, an edible rose petal buried in jelly, some tasty macarons and yummy sandwiches. There were also some biscuits in the shape of Belle’s signature yellow dress that were simply delicious! Honestly, it was an incredibly thoughtful event and I am so grateful to been a part of it. Finally, we all said our goodbyes; the girls in charge thanked us for coming. We were given goodie bags and some of the most thoughtful gifts were in there. From a Minnie mouse necklace, to a PANDORA charm, to cardholders, to this amazing thing that I never knew existed. It’s a tranquillity fragrance that helps you sleep better and mine was in a lavender scent. (My absolute fave)! Honestly, it really is the little things.
