So I’m sure by now you all know that I live in London?! Well I’ve lived here for seven years now and I’m ashamed to say that I don’t participate in any tourist activities. When I travel to different countries, I fully immerse myself in tourist activities. I’m always keen to see and do and taste all the things that I’ve seen in movies or that has reached me through word of mouth. Well, when it comes to my own city, I’m so unbothered because somehow I feel, ‘they will always be there’, so I get on with more important things. This was my mindset until yesterday when I decided to plan my location and head to Westminster, where my friend captured some bokeh-licious (I totally just made that word up) photographs.
As I stepped out of Westminster station, I realised why I usually stay clear of such areas. Three words. Swarm of tourists! Don’t get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with tourists. I mean, I just mentioned above how excited I get when I’m in a different country, so it’s perfectly normal for others to feel the same way. However, when you live in the city in topic, you realise why you don’t venture to specific areas. All in all, it was so worth the journey because I absolutely love these images.
