It’s exactly ten days until I go on holiday and I absolutely cannot wait. Sun, sea, sand and scenery. A few of my favourite things, as shown on my pinterest board titled just that.
As much as I love London, and I do (For one, nothing beats our transportation system, seriously.) it will be so nice to jet off and get a new perspective on things, because I’ve recently been having long thoughts on a couple things concerning my life. (Typical me though, always asking myself a hundred and one questions) Have you ever felt like something amazing was going to happen in your life but it was just taking it’s sweet time? Well that’s how I’ve felt for a little while and to be honest, my patience is wearing thin. (Patience has never been my strong suit. I’ve hard to learn it, lol) That being said, I see my self as a virtuous woman, and we all know the famous quote about patience so i’ll just be over here waiting. …patiently.
So this outfit was put together on a whim, because ultimately I wanted to wear my yellow bow top and the only thing I thought to pair it with were my flared trousers. I love these trousers so much but I’ve only ever worn them once before on the blog, where I showcased a rather seventies look. My only issue with them is that they are low rise and I’m a high waist lover. High waist-ed jeans/trousers/shorts/skirts. Basically, high waist-ed anything-that covers-the-nether-region. What I love about them is that they are are incredibly flattering whatever your shape or size and being a girl who loves wearing crop tops but doesn’t like showing her belly button, high waist-ed everything works perfectly.
Have a lovely weekend Ribbons!
