Personal style is something that evolves as we mature, and I’m realising that my style is even more edgy chic than I once thought. I’m the girl who adores The Row but is also pretty much in love with Balmain. Do you see the contrast? Those are probably my two favourite aesthetics. I’m either glammed up ready to audition to be part of Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain Army, or I’m having green tea with The Olsen twins. (They probably don’t even drink green tea, but here’s hoping).
Different ends of the spectrum, both totally satisfying to me. The way I dress really portrays my mood. One day I could be dressed as if accompanying Phoebe Philo to an art gallery, another day I could be getting ready for dinner with Domenico & Stefano. (Hopefully this dinner will consist of antipasti, frutti di mare, a couple slices of pizza and Campari. Yes, in this dream I assume we will be dining in Sicily.)
This week, I decided to pair my Solace London jumpsuit with my medium grey Sarah Sturgeon coat. I really do love the way the grey and white complement each other and as I’m sure you’ve noticed, I am carrying my mini bag that I spoke about here (pretty amazing story if you haven’t read it yet). London Fashion Week is fast approaching and I haven’t yet decided on my looks for the week. Will I go edgy, will I go chic, or will I balance it out?
