If you follow me on social media, particularly instagram, you would know that I visited Dubai in the middle of October. Before visiting Dubai, I had heard from various mouths the level of glamour and luxury the city held, but I don’t think I fully understood how much truth their words held.
I would describe Dubai as an oasis of whatever you want it to be. Yes, it is a predominantly Islamic city so there are codes of conduct, but in my 6 days in the DIFC district, I wanted for nothing. From the copious amount of ladies nights, to the vast amounts of beach clubs, to the fact that Deliveroo is 24hours. Even with an average or 45 degrees celsius, you can find one of the best ski resorts in Dubai. How that is possible, is still beyond me till this day. The bottom line is, you can truly get any experience you desire in Dubai and I can’t wait to tell you more in my upcoming posts.
I visited 3 beach clubs and I must say that Drift Beach Club comes in first place. (Jumeirah Beach coming in a close second). What appealed to me with Drift was the layout. Walking into the venue, you get greeted by a lovely man who ushers you to a golf cart that takes you to the actual entrance. We were then surrounded by a white and blue colour palette and were given towels and a complimentary cocktail (it was ladies day).
Now the most appealing aspect of the beach club, was how perfectly it sat at the edge of the the crystal clear ocean. This allows for a dip in the warm ocean to the cool pool without much effort and leg work required. Ultimately, I had a peaceful and relaxing time at Drift Beach and I would go back in a heart beat.
