Hey Ribbons! It’s been a while since my last post, because I’m just getting used to the wifi here. My dad got me this dongle that has absolutely saved my life, because now I am able to write my essay blog as much as I want! How have you all been? I hope great?!

I am enjoying Nigeria a lot, it’s been 7 years since I was in my country and it is 7 years too long! My mum said that I would be like a fish out of water, and she was right in some respects. Things in Nigeria are very different. I’m going to be bold and say that nothing is guaranteed. Electricity and transportation especially. Regardless, I am soaking up every bit of the sun (who am I kidding, I switch on the air conditioner at every chance I get!) The heat in Nigeria isn’t ‘holiday heat’ like that of Marbella, Spain. It’s extremely humid here and ain’t nobody got time for unnecessary perspiration.

Anyway, I will write a little bit more when I upload my Nigerian diary. The back drop for the photos above are my house. It has changed so much! 🙂

Jersey – H&M
Trousers – ZARA (Most comfortable trousers! Feels like I’m wearing water…)
Shoes – ASOS similar here & here

  • I had those pants in my shopping bag weeks ago on line and before I paid, it was no longer available so seeing it on you makes me wish I’d purchased earlier, they look great. Anyway I’ve not been to Nigeria in over 10 yrs and hoping to soon. I’m not surprised about the heat, the electricity and transportation situation though but heard a lot is different 🙂 nice house too!

    • Awww, that has happened to me in the past & it’s pretty annoying! I hope you can find some similar ones anyway, ZARA is a good store to try! Oh wow, 10 years is a long time, but although things would have changed a lot when you go back, you will still have old memories to compare & contrast with. xx
