Pad Thai
Rosa’s is a Thai Cafe that makes one of the best pad thai noodles I’ve ever had. I ate at the one in Westfield Stratford City. It was one of those “me” days where I was out shopping on my own and boom! It was time for lunch. (Best time of the day) Actually, Blinner (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) are my best times of the day. Especially when I’m hungry! …who am I kidding, even when I’m not hungry I appreciate a good meal. Anyway, what’s special about this meal is the ‘Fresh Summer Rolls’. I have had Pad Thai in the past so it wasn’t too crazy, however since pad thai only comes with the option of Chicken OR prawns and since I’m greedy and indecisive, I asked to have both put in my noodles and I paid a little extra. (Worth it!) Anyway, back to the rolls. I’m a lover of spring rolls, especially duck spring rolls, but for so long I have wanted to try these rolls that are wrapped in a clear film and I had heard they only do them in street markets in Thailand. I was disappointed -_- Anyway, to my surprise, there they were, staring at me. I had to have them! These mouth watering goodness are soft rolls of fragrant herbs, served with a delicious peanut sauce. And best of all, they have ONLY vegetables and herbs inside and I still enjoyed them! No chicken, no prawns, no duck. Just carrots and something that looks like celery (I hate celery so if it was that, then I’m impressed that I ate it all up). Go to Rosa’s, you won’t regret it! 🙂
