Health and Fitness is something that I've never taken too seriously. Thanks to my wonderful genes, I am a naturally slim person so I rarely excercise. One of the main reasons I rarely excercise is because the treadmill bores me and so does the cross trainer. If I'm running, I better be going somewhere. You know what I mean? Another reason, is that I can't push myself, so when I get tired I simply stop and don't feel guilty about stopping. The excercises that I do partake in, involve more flexibility and I will talk more about them later on the blog. However, as I've grown older I realise that I SHOULD take health & fitness seriously, because not only do I want to be able to out run a dog, (if ever I was being chased) but I also want to feel energised and ready to go wherever the wind takes me. Being healthy doesn't mean one has to strave themselves, it just means that we should remember to maintain a healthy balance of nutritious food. Being a foodie, you will see so much sushi, pizza, burgers e.t.c. on my instagram, but don't be deceived, all those things are consumed in moderation. Indulge, but don't overindulge. Your thighs will thank me later! 


Simple Green Smoothie (Serves 1) – If you'd like to make more, just double the amounts below.




1 shot glass of water

1 handful of diced pineapples

1 Banana (chopped)

2 handfuls of spinach

1 juice of a lime (squeezed on top the mix)
