Hey Ribbons! Hope you’re all doing well? (I hope you actually leave a comment below and let me know, I’m always happy to read & discuss…)

So lately, I’ve been getting distracted by a few things. From things not going according to plan, to guys, to finances, to life decisions to pretty much everything. Two weeks ago, I stopped to think why this was happening and I couldn’t come up with anything, so I decided to write out 3 goals. I’d like to achieve one of them by September and dates are yet to be set for the others.

In doing this, I’ve managed to plan out my life for the next few months, solely focusing on those 3 things. It’s only been 2 weeks but I’ve found that I am more focused on my path and external factors aren’t getting to me as much as they once were.

This is all to say that sometimes, having a laser focus (or tunnel vision as I like to call it) for the things that are important to you or the things that you want to achieve might be the key to more success. Life is hard enough as it is, without external factors getting in the way of our work and feelings.

I’d love to know how you all deal with all of life’s distractions, because I might feel like having tunnel vision and blocking everything/one out is the way forward, but perhaps there are other ways to do this that I haven’t explored. Leave me a comment below so we can discuss.

Side Note: Remember when I mentioned that I love silky/satiny-y dresses here, (variation herehere, here and here? Well guys, it has become a full an obsession. Clothing made out of silk and satin are 100% a favourite of mine because it almost feels like I’m wearing water. (Not that anyone knows how that would feel, but I’m sure you get me, lol). The one in this post is from Topshop and you can shop it with the link below (It also comes in pink).
